Golf Outting Scholarships

Since 2006, the NW Ohio Chapter has hosted a golf outing to raise money for scholarships at the University of Toledo for Civil Engineering students interested in transportation. The event has grown each year and has allowed NWO ASHE to provide significant scholastic help to numerous UT students, who are looking for a career in the highway industry.

NWO ASHE has provided over $10,000 in scholarships. In 2006 the scholarship was one $500 and it has steadily grown where the 2012 scholarship fund provided three $1,500 scholarships.

The scholarships are specifically for University of Toledo Civil Engineering Students, interested in highway/highway construction engineering. The recipients must be U.S. citizens, in their junior or senior years or graduate school and with a significant need for financial assistance.
